How tested is djabberd?

MSN/ICQ transports need to work first with DJabberd before I migrate my 
server to DJ.

And even then, they need to to deb-packaged (like the transports of 
jabberd 1 are) in such a way that they stop and start when djabberd 
stops and starts, before I install the whole lot.
