Hi,

Thanks for the updates. Yes. I added the others presence. The following are the detailed steps that am doing from client (Windows /Linux pidgin):

Adding an account: Selected the protocol as XMPP with screen name / password as the users created in djabberd server using htdigest. The domain name is the name we have provided in VHOST. I left the Resource as default "home" and gave some name as local alias. Enabled the SSL/TLS option and added the connection port / connection ip address as per the configuration. After saving the new account, I enabled the account. All users get logged in.

Adding the user as buddy:
By "Add Buddy", i am adding the other user. After selecting the proper account, i am giving the screen name as the user whom we want to add (he is online as well). I discarded the alias and group.

Once I added the other user as buddy, i see his status as offline (though he is online). When I try to send a message to other user, the message is sent but the receiver is not getting the message. I confirmed the message sent reaches server.

Could you provide some suggestion? if you would like to try with my djabberd server, I will provide the credentials.

Thanks and Regards,
-Rajesh

On Dec 10, 2007 10:16 PM, Edward Rudd <
