Strange memory management behavior

Update: after a few days of running, even though limited to 800mb by the 
-m switch, memcached ate up about 1.5GB of RAM on several machines with 
no signs of slowing down. I spent a couple of hours going through the 
source and looking for obvious memory leaks, but didn't find any. Is 
anyone else seeing this type of behavior?
