As far as this list is concerned, if you run a 32-bit Linux OS, 
memcached can only use 2GB of memory for the entire process.  That 
includes the memory needed for connections.  If you run a 64-bit Linux 
OS, you do not have this limit.  A limit exists, but there is no current 
hardware available that can reach the mathematical limit.
