Multi-threaded Release?

Hello,

 

I see that there is a multi-threaded version of memcached in SVN
(http://code.sixapart.com/svn/memcached/branches/multithreaded/server/do
c/threads.txt).  Will this make it into official release/distro?  If so,
any idea when?
