VMWare Virtual Appliance?

Anyone ever thought of posting a VMWare Virtual Appliance version of
mogilefs?

 

You would probably need 2 or 3 Appliances:  DB, Tracker, and Storage
Nodes.  But this would make it extremely easy for anyone to get
up-and-running to try out and it might even make sense for production
deployment in some scenarios.  Imagine getting a new storage node
machine with any OS on it, installing VMWare and simply copying over and
starting the appliance.  No further configuration needed...

This might also be a good idea for memcached...

 

And yes, I'm asking because I don't think I have time to do it myself.
;-)  Honesty is almost always the best policy...
