Documentation ... not really.

Example plugins ... well, a few:

The MogileFS plugin architecture is not as well formed as the Perlbal
one, so it's very likely that we'd have to add more hooks to do what
you want.  I'm not opposed to adding hooks that make sense, it will
help other plugin authors as well, should anybody get an urge to make
MogileFS plugins.
