Johannes,

Knowing you are going on stage to really get Yadis into the public
consciousness, I tried putting together a summary of Why Yadis Matters from
the end-user perspective.

I set out to write a blog post to explain "Why Yadis Matters", but  
then I realized that as a community, we are probably much better at  
this together than I am by myself.

So I created a new page on the wiki:
     http://yadis.org/wiki/Why_Yadis_Matters

and put some half-formed thoughts there. I'd be great if you could  
contribute your thoughts.

Assuming we can create some reasonably coherent piece, we might want  
to consider getting it published in places other than our own wiki.  
To be frank, I'm not sure we will be able to pull this off -- has  
anybody ever managed to collaboratively produce a coherent article on  
anything? -- but I'd like to invite you to try with me!!
