I want to setup memcached in my server for caching my database ( around 1.6G big ) .But i'v read all of those documment and still can't understand how to set it up and how to make it work . It would be very nice if someone here can help me out . 
My server config :
Dual opteron 242 
4G ram , SCSI HDD 
CentOS 3 
apache 1.3
php5 , mysql4
and cpanel
