Running both non-cached and cached configurations

Hi

Is it possible to run two memcached servers: one using
the new non-cache option (keep everything unless
deleted or the server reboots) and one using the cache
option.

Both have different approaches that fit different
parts of my apps requirements.

If possible, are there any negatives to be expected?
