memcache stats

Hi everyone,

A quick question.  I'm using libmemcache 1.4.0.rc2 with memcached 1.2.1.
When I call mc_stats() I get back a struct with all zero values.  In the
server warnings I see:  "mcm_server_stats():3024: unknown stat variable:
pointer_size"

If I give the "stats" command directly to the server I see valid results.
Is there some type of version / protocol conflict here?

Sorry if this is a well known issue and already discussed.  I did try some
google searching first.
