Next Major Memcached release / roadmap?

I would love to see sliding expirations and "namespaces" for invalidating groups of related keys.

One thing people have also talked about is authentication support.
It would help for shared environments, but would add overhead that
most of us don't want. But just another thing to throw out there :)
