multiple memcached instances per server

One would be if your memcached is 32-bit and is therefore limited in
heap, but your server addresses more memory.
"if" my memcached is 32-bit? You mean there's a 64-bit version?
What are the sizes I should limit my memcached to, to get around this
limitation?
