Rebalancing a cluster?

In small or new clusters I'd mark a few devices on "old" hosts to  
drain for a few minutes / hours / whatever to put some data on the new  
host / devices.  In more mature setups it doesn't matter so much; the  
new host/devices will get plenty data soon enough.
