hi all!

from what i've read in the docs for libaio, i believe it won't run out 
of the box on debian woody. indeed, linux::aio fails to compile with an 
error in aio.xs. has this happened to anyone, and if so were you 
successful in dealing with it?

switching to redhat really isn't an option (at least, not as soon as 
anything fails) because we have some hundreds of debian installs and 
the operations team is completely debian-centric.

any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
