brainstorming on naming

I agree with Johannes' earlier statement about this being "broader than
identity", and think his list is a good starting point.  I'd like to
avoid having "Identity" or similar terms in the name.

cadis :  capability discovery system.
scads :  simple capability discovery system.
scad  :  simple capability discovery

Those don't quite roll off the tounge, but...
