REST authentication

Hi Chris,
At the OpenID Developers Evening two weeks ago this same thing came up.
Sxip has been thinking through a way to use OpenID for API key
provisioning, basically make the key an attribute in the authentication
request's response.  As far as I'm aware, no spec has been drafted for
this yet.

I am interested in using Yadis or OpenID with a REST API.  I searched
the archives and there have been some passing discussion of this, but I
was wondering if there are any full blown examples.
