Yes, we definitely also need a shorter "implementers guide" to complement the spec as well as a sort of "quick start" for getting up and running with existing libraries.

I hope we can continue having a less formal version of the spec (call it a guide or howto) available too.

The formal spec is great for checking details and polishing, but for getting started the old quick drafty spec is much superior.
