Its happening already

Thankyou everyone for the wishes of support both on and off the list.

My poor wife started having contractions and is spending the night at the
hospital (we're in australia, just getting dark here). They've given her
various things to both try and stop the contractions, and speed up the
development of the baby in case it wants to come out anyway.

So far everything is ok.  The same thing happened with our last baby too, so
we're already familiar with the process.   Although, if the contractions
dont stop, or her water breaks, she could spend the next 4 weeks in
hospital, which is not fun.  We will just have to take it a day at a time.
