Squid in front of Mogilefs tracker

Is it possible to put Squid in front of MogileFS tracker ?
This can dramatically reduce the load on trackers, no ? We have now a squid
farm to cache all our documents, with a hit ratio of 92%, and we'd like to
keep this solution for our future MogileFS installation.
